Through this collaboration between the Ladli Foundation and our school, we witnessed the power of practical learning, community engagement, and the spirit of social entrepreneurship.

A Noble Cause:

The Ladli Foundation, a non-profit, non-governmental organization, has been on a mission to uplift the lives of underprivileged communities, particularly those residing in slums and villages. Their unwavering commitment to social work is evident in their diverse initiatives, touching upon healthcare, education, gender sensitization, malnutrition, water sanitation, and more. By addressing these pressing concerns, the Ladli Foundation strives to create a society that embraces equity and compassion.

The Concept Behind the Internship:

The Social Internship Program's concept lies in providing a platform for young minds to engage directly with real-world scenarios. Under the guidance of a dedicated teacher acting as a mentor, five passionate interns, including me, embarked on a journey to make a meaningful impact on the lives of beneficiaries.

Focus Areas:

Throughout the internship, we worked diligently on three focal topics - malnutrition, volunteering, and vital issues such as good touch-bad touch, menstrual hygiene, water sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). These topics became the pillars of our mission to create awareness and drive positive change.

Implementation Methodology:

The success of the Social Internship Program was rooted in a meticulously planned and versatile methodology. Together, the Ladli Foundation and our school enabled us to conduct primary and secondary research, deliver impactful awareness workshops, and actively engage with beneficiaries. Carefully designed weekly tasks targeted various social issues, fostering meaningful interventions.

Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis:

To assess the program's impact, we undertook both quantitative and qualitative analyses. Our quantitative assessment revealed that the internship reached 85% of the targeted beneficiaries, with 78% expressing their appreciation for our initiatives.
